Membership within the Association as a Trim Contractor is defined within our constitution / by-law as any company which is engaged in the low rise residential trim carpentry industry and engages in the supply and installation of trim packages and are bound to a collective agreement with Local 27 of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America.
The company shall complete a provided application form in writing to the Association. The application form must then be sponsored in writing by two members in good standing of the association, and shall be accompanied by the required membership fee. The Board of Directors is notified upon receipt of the application, which then must be approved at the next meeting of the membership.
Application for membership shall be construed to be an undertaking to conform to the constitution and to all of the by-laws, rules, regulations, applicable collective agreements and requirements of the association, which may, from time to time be adopted.
